Just as in any
community or group, people have relationships with each other. So too, can a group
of personalities in a multiple have relationships with each other. And they can
be quite strong and powerful.
Not all the
relationships are positive. Some can be all about conflict, all the time. For
example, a group of teenage personalities might cause problems for the person.
Vicky “They do things together, those
two, Peggy Lou and Peggy Ann. … what arouses Peggy Lou’s anger makes Peggy Ann

Marcia
and Vanessa did things together, as did Mike and Sid, Marjorie and Ruthie, and
the Peggys. Although not a team, Mary and Vanessa were special friends. (Sybil see BOOKS, ARTICLES)
Personalities
may collaborate sometimes on pretty much anything. They might work together to
be a parent, they may do art work together, they may have various roles at work
or school that complement each other.
None
of the paintings, of course, was Sybil’s alone. Most were collaborative efforts
of several of the selves. Collaboration had proved constructive at times,
